yeah, something kept telling me to research cult manipulation, for some reason, the Voice of God i guess... yeah... a little later i actually saw the mind parasite that was in me that made me vulnerable too, on an accidentally too high dose of the best meth i've ever used lol... that was the point at which the idea to write that text started

i totally forgot about that, yeah, i got out of all that other shit and then omg the landlady of the place i ended up renting was a psycho, as well... probably shouldn't be surprised considering two articles of furniture in the house was a chandelier with the mitsubishi logo, which i am pretty sure is a satanic symbol, and a big silver plated dish, moroccan style, on the lounge table, with a big fat hexagram etched into it

after she comes around to inspect, violating what i consider to be my privacy by bringing her husband in, who was not on the lease, and asking me if that was ok at like 20 minutes notice, lol... basically i called up the friend who got me the good meth and asked him to help me out with some transport, basically gave away a heap of nice things i had so i could get the fuck out

shortly after that i managed to land the job in varna and that was that

as though to confirm, i went outside and saw the golden light of the sun on the mountain that separates boa ventura/sao christoval from the next town arco sao jorge

it reminded me also

i found out that the portuguese word for the herb fennel is "funcho" and the capital of this island is called Funchal, and in ancient greek culture fennel was said to impart a blessing to warriors

and so i think that the word funchal may be a reference to "the blessed city" of revelation

there is lots going on there but that's just what came to me

also it makes me think about how i have been drawn to join the portuguese fatima catholic church here, and all the lovely people i have come into contact as a result of coming here, and even, this town's name means "good fortune" and the church is named "the church of the mother of good fortune" igreja da matriz da boaventura. maybe matriz means grandmother, actually.

Maybe you found a magical place. I've heard Portugal has such places. Actually, all of Iberia does, and southern France.

When I was beebopping around East Asia (which I want to get back to), I became convinced that the whole region was a sort of "thinner" part of reality, like the material matrix separating us from the real world was thinner and magic could penetrate easier there. Its a feeling and somehow some kind of difference in the quality of light, which could easily go unnoticed, except that you do notice it.
