hmm, it’s something discussed with nostr:npub1zuuajd7u3sx8xu92yav9jwxpr839cs0kc3q6t56vd5u9q033xmhsk6c2uc months ago, he would have more resourceful thoughts on this than i can currently give you.

i was mainly discussing this whole exclusively from damus’s point of view

Just out of curiosity. Don't you think that's kind of an issue though? Only thinking about it from one client's perspective? Like not everybody uses Damus.

So while you've maybe solved a problem for iPhone users there's still a shit ton of Android users hanging around in the Darkness.

I'm not saying this to be an asshole. I'm just going to be direct but why don't why aren't you guys on the same page and focus on one thing at a time instead of going in different directions?

Well, developers have different views on what's important. That's one of the main value of the protocol, anyone can build whatever they want. This enables an open market and competion, the market will decide what approaches are viable.

Yeah and I can already tell you that most people don't use Reddit Style stuff. That's kind of the issue on facing here. If you put micro blogging and internet forums side by side the majority of people are going to choose micro blogging that's just the way it is now.

I already know we're not priority. I already know there's going to be a shit ton of Twitter like Noster clients. But what about people who like internet forums are we just going to be forgotten about?

Like it could seriously just be one guy making a stick ass Reddit Style no stir client that's all I care about. It doesn't have to be every developer doing Reddit Style.

I just want to be able to use no stir as well and enjoy it also. Like the free speech is there that's awesome. But everything else isn't (forum stuff) and I don't think it's considered a important or a priority at all to anyone either.

That's the only reason why I'm so vocal on this
