I think a lot of my friends missed early microblogging where it was just stream of thought so their understanding of social media is curated fake people and news

I look at our avatars in the comments, people in balaclavas... I think we look like some kind of cult and it makes me a little uneasy.
Literally zero. Most of my friends don't care about privacy, bitcoin, etc... and are tech illiterate.
I don't know anyone in my immediate vicinity.
