I believe so. Never used them with bold's app.

But you can setup these cards on your own ln node. Completly uncustodial. Lnbits has many features suporting it.

You can also get these cards from the company: plebtag. They even have glowing laser eyes (LED's charged by NFC).

What store? If you're arguing that using bitcoin to pay your utility provider is easy because you have 1 of the few whole do, that isn't actually advice it's luck that you're in a jurisdiction that does it.
