1000 year period.

All SSL/TLS certs usually have a validity period before it needs signing again with the Certificate Authority, otherwise it'll get rejected by browsers.

Side note: I just discovered this stupid thing look at this piece of new xD

So we can use DNN to re-new or sign it?

Unfortunately no.

DNN / DNN supported/aware browsers or OSs don't need to worry about this kind of stupidity.

For those using normal DNS, where DNN isn't involved, you'll unfortunately still have to deal with this stupidity.

DNN (or anyone) can't fix this stupidity without user action or browser or OS updates to make their internet experience DNN-aware. So reaching a point where users and website owners don't have to worry about anything because DNN is in most PCs, that'll of course take a long time.

The moment Brave (that's my first target of hopeful collaboration since they have tor supported already i think, so I'd imagine they'd be cool with adding DNN) adds DNN support, that's hundreds of millions of users that can easily just interact with dnn sites, then firefox will be next to add it potentially, then chrome further down the line (all because of market-pressure).
