Writing code for Bitcoin or Nostr on a Mac is kind of painful. Except for Damus 🤙 what’s a good cheap laptop that would run Ubuntu well? Any recommendations?

Why is it painful? Just a text editor, not?
I just run into weird dependency issues. Especially with M1, docker doesn’t always work. And I’m just using vms most of the time
