New satellite imagery taken on June 24 of the Natanz Nuclear Facility in central Iran suggests that repair efforts may be underway following recent U.S. airstrikes. The images show that two large craters, visible on June 22 and believed to have been created by GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) 30,000-pound “bunker buster” bombs, have now been filled in with dirt. These craters were located above a section of the underground uranium enrichment complex targeted in the strikes. Additionally, heavy machinery appears to have cleared several paths across the area, and a number of temporary structures or tents have been set up at one of the impact sites.
