Why? There's so much stuff for sale with Bitcoin that I can be picky with it. Like the Christmas and Easter gifts I was to buy with Bitcoin aren't just random shot, it's actually quality shit
The fact that you personally choose not to buy anything does not imply that there is a lot of stuff for you to buy. The "I can afford to be picky" argument assumes that something is FORCING you to spend your Bitcoin, but that is absolutely not the case. You are in exactly the same boat as before Bitcoin existed: you just spend fiat on anything you need.
Uhm what? 5 years ago I couldn't buy jerky, a home server, a vaporizer, crochet, radios, etc with corn or if I could I was unaware and it wasn't easy. 10 years ago I most certainly couldn't. Now I can do such things on a whim. I could technically do ths whole buy giftcards thing but I don't believe in that.
