55 years ago today, the US military shot and killed 4 unarmed college students at a protest against the Vietnam War. They even wrote a song about it. Strangely, I've never heard a student tell me that they learned about this in history class, or even in civics class, which I doubt even exists anymore. Of course, this could never happen again. Or....
