the german car industry is in crisis ... i hope it won't be rescued with taxpayers' money again. it's time to listen to the market and not try to dictate it with empty phrases

Amazing how they destroyed themselves by following the green hype agenda. That's what you get when you listen to politicians, the WEF, etc. instead of your customers. Bye, German car brands 👋

I imagine most people don’t care if they buy a gasoline, hybrid or an electric vehicle, if it wasn’t for the price (and in some cases inconvenience of finding charging stations). If prices came down and there was a vast network of chargers, electric would probably do well.

I like the concept of electric cars but it isn't the right way to force people to buy them

They also set heavily on Chinese market sales, but those have been crashing.

the automotive industry has simply never had to operate sustainably

Isn't the state a big shareholder of the biggest german car corp?

Be sure, it will be rescued with taxpayers money. But keep in mind, taxpayers money is just paper.
