One question I like to pose to people is if the majority of the decisions you make in your life, no matter how big or small, revolve around money, and yet you don’t really know what money is or how it works, then aren’t you making blind decisions? How can you make confident decisions on anything? From deciding to buy a car to switching jobs to deciding to have another child or buy a house. You can never make a solid decision like these without knowing what money is. It’s not only foolish but completely irresponsible. We can use the excuse that you were never told or never learned what money is. But once the question is posed to you of “What is money?” and you choose to not teach yourself, well then your blind and sometimes poor decisions for yourself and the ones you care about are on you.
