Epictetus, a priest, and Astion, his disciple, fearlessly preached Christ in Scythia Minor. Arrested for converting many to Christianity and destroying idols, they refused to renounce their faith before the governor. Despite torture, including beatings and burnings, they remained steadfast. Miraculously healed by an angel, they were eventually beheaded. Their unwavering faith led to numerous conversions, solidifying Christianity in the region.
