Both could be OK.

People can claim their work and TM and be the revenue generator or ask for royalty.

People can also give away their product and expect good people to try and return value somehow.

There is also a stark difference in sharing someone’s content for the sake of sharing/spreading it, and taking it to repurpose and use for your own gain, which is what my post above referred to but nostr:npub1mewnfu53zdzxeuypmzzsel4n0sspgs6vas5q80xq380k245dlz6qmxhq8d chose to ignore and misinterpret.

Bad assumption. Totally missed the part of use for your own gain. Seemed you were saying if someone shares it without zapping the creator they’re a freeloader. Someone pee in your Cheerios this morning?😂
