The worst message in pop songs of them all that's paraded as a love song is Whitney Houston's "Saving all my love for you".

Seriously?? How many women listened to that and thought "guess what? It's true love that I'm with a married man who's got no time for me." Okay!

Only if songwriters can be sued for liabilities, right?

I never realized this song was about an affair. I’ve noticed lately a lot of love songs are about being cucked! πŸ˜‚

Right?! Pysops.

yup. pretty sure it's not promoting it, but sharing the vibe for those who can relate though.

"The song caused controversy due to its theme of having an affair with a married man. Houston's mother Cissy Houston didn't at all like the scenario described in the lyric, claiming that the song's message would reflect badly on her daughter. However, Whitney herself confessed, "I was going through a terrible love affair. He was married, and that will never work out for anybody. Never, no way.""

RIP Whitney πŸ’œ

someone else wrote it, but Whitney really did make it her own. such an amazing singer...no auto-tune on that record πŸ’œ

Pop songs usually advertise very unhealthy lifestyles and decision making. Realized that a while ago but not before I was in too deep. I work in the music industry and I can’t wait to get out.

Club dance music is the best way to get the message into people's heads haha

It’s such a good vibe 😌

It can totally be a bachata song.

Btw, do you dance at all?

Sometimes if I’m in the mood or at a wedding but not a pro πŸ˜‚

Haha I see.

Why do you? Are you a clubber? πŸ˜‚
