Problem I have is that visa cards are necessary for car rental, AND EVEN TO STAY IN A HOTEL (for incidentals payment).
That's what ties me to the banking system. I can't imagine how people without credit cards (who travel) manage.

Listened to this unchained pod recently and they mentioned “bitcoin credit cards”.
You’re absolutely right, thought, that too many fiat services still deem credit cards and their credit capacity as a golden standard. Something to think about
Credit cards are dominated by mastercars and visa, meaning any "crypto" or bitcoin credit card will be fully kyc and custodial.
