Also “transphobic” is not a “derogatory slur” like someone was trying to say… it is a pretty accurate adjective for how to describe me tbh! I am not denying that I have a sort of fear/aversion/general distrust. I don’t want trans people having custody of children or getting married in churches. That *is* transphobic if me. I would be an idiot to deny it

Seems highly linked to mental issues and trauma. I feel sorry for them, mostly. But, still wouldn't trust the with my kids.

There's a ton of social pressure and more top-down propaganda around the topic.

Be kind and pick your battles. God knows the truth and we have to trust in divine justice. If you have to go to the mat, use evidence such as the suicide rate.

I don't know how the Catholic church works around God parents and their role in allowing or disallowing people for the position.

From my perspective, it would be based upon the parents' judgement.
