Or maybe the QR code needs to be copied on another device because there is no way to sync on the same device?
Right. There is no input field to copy the NWC string yet. Will be there in next update on Damus.However snort and Amethyst both supports and it works.
Damus Hack - take a screen capture of QR code put it on the laptop and scan with Damus App.
