Not maybe, actually. P900 has a 2000mm equivalent focal length.

My DSLR had an APS-C sensor, which gives it a 1.6x multiplier. 800x2x1.6=2560mm equivalent focal length.

Where are your images? Also, the picture quality 20 years ago was much lower resolution.

I don't need to prove anything, your ignorance is obvious, you need to do actual research.

There are far better examples anyways. Look through his feed and check out what is really capable with consumer equipment. nostr:nprofile1qqsq8m206z2clq6nk052sjfm46qtxk5x3gv7c34xentqe4fw2tfjjcspr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmp0qyvhwumn8ghj7atwdphhxar9v3mkzmrvv46zucm0d5hsz9thwden5te0wfjkccte9ehx7um5wghxzaf07dd4g9 posts excellent astrophotography quite often, taken with his own equipment.

A p900 is a toy 😂

Plus what's the provenance of this tiktok video? What was it shot with? How was it processed? Who took it? Is it AI generated?

Do you assess "evidence" that confirms your bias with the same level of incredulity that you use on evidence that supports it?

Why should I believe a random video from the Internet?

A toy proves those "planets" are fake. Agree. Imagine what a real telescope in the hands of the public would show.

How does it prove the planets are fake though?

NPC mode activated? 😆😅

No, just decades of experience vs your lack of knowledge.

But please illuminate my apperant ignorance. How does this video prove planets are fake? Please inform me.

My dude, you can buy consumer telescopes for not much money. There are tons of options for less than the cost of the toy p900.

You need to inform yourself.

Again, you "my NPC dude" are missing the point. LOL.

How does the video prove planets are fake?

You too dumb to know how to discern how to know truth from fake?

So you can't explain it?

Let me think, how does viewing something yourself prove a cartoon from nasa is fake.

Viewing what? What in the video prove the planets are fake? If it's so obvious you should be able to explain it, right? What am I viewing that proves the fakeness?

You tell me? How do you know if a cartoon vs what you can see through a camera yourself is fake? HOW THE FUCK DO YOU KNOW?!

I'm not seeing it myself though, it's a video on the Internet.

And I still don't understand what I am seeing in the video that proves planets are fake.

Can you explain it? If you understand it, why can't you articulate what makes this video prove the planets are fake?

Its ok man, you cant get everything i suppose. Im sure day to day thinking takes its burden.

So you can't explain it?

Explain what? How to think?

How does the video prove planets are fake? What am I seeing that proves that?

So you admit you can't explain it? All you have is that one meme and insults 😂

If it looks the same to you, thats fine. Carry on NPC. I have many more memes and insults. Your begging the question rhetoric is obvious LOL

You insist this video proves that planets are fake, I would just like to know why so I can research further. I fail to understand why you can't explain it, if it is so obvious. If that is the case it should be easy to explain right? Why would you not want to spread your knowledge?

No, the claim is planets and flying there etc.

https://science.nasa.gov/mars/

So you tell me how you get to that from the images of a P900?

Why would you limit yourself to the cheap optics and low resolution of a p900 when far better option exist? It has a tiny light gathering capability (the actual size of the lens element) and a small sensor, not well suited to this kind of imaging. It's no surprise it doesn't do a good job. That's why anyone who is serious about astrophotography has a telescope like I linked earlier, and an slr or milc camera with a larger (APS-C or full frame) sensor for image capture.

The p900 is a toy vs what people use for capturing actual good astro images.

Once again I refer you to the images captured by Con Kolivas, you may know him, he was the guy who wrote cgminer, contributes to the Linux kernel, and does some amazing astrophotography, in addition to being an Anesthesiologist.

He's here on Nostr too. You could probably learn a thing or two from him.

Could you tag him please?

I already did a few comments back. I'm not going to spam him with more notifications of this silliness 😂

Appeal to authority fallacy.

The p900 and the newer p1000 do a great job and i have seen some amazing footage with them.

You still cant unprove the results of these cameras. Try harder gimp.
