Any general purpose AI will quickly surpass us. For it the true boundary will be on the edge of solar system... we will be no competition for the energy of Sun (that's the only thing AI will be interested in controlling).

Within solar system, AI will be interested in stability. Enforcing boundaries between intelligent entities to prevent big conflicts. I'm sure it'll do much better job than we're currently doing.

Interesting perspective.

I think it has the potential to rob us of our humanity, and I think our humanity is something we should defend at all costs.

I worry way more about humans... especially the ones that will try to use AI and tech to rob others of their freedom and humanity. Sama... with "Worldcoin" and scanning retinas to give shitcoins is a prime example.

I agree, humans promoting AI and presenting it as a saviour or light is the bigger problem than AI itself. But AI is also a problem, it will never have the neurons around heart of humans that enable them to download wisdom from God. AI is like brain neurons, and brain has a lot of problems. I predict heart based people will not use AI that much or generate their own AI based on Nostr.
