I sometimes use the app **Obsidian** to draft a more significant note.

You can also copy the *marked down* text across which some clients now recognise.

I've heard **Logseq** is also a pretty good app.

Btw - of you're seeing asterisks in this note, your client doesn't support the markdown that Obsidian uses.
