That sounds like 1984. Which is a fair argument, it does seem like it’s coming to that. But I don’t think overreach of that nature has anything to do with Bitcoin. We cannot code our way out of a social/authoritarian problem of that level (in my opinion). Fight or flight under those conditions.

Agree...yet most in today's world are too comfortable to resist. People will just say "government, please take care of this for us--we need to be 'safe' and privacy no longer matters to me".
There's no more "fight" in America--that generation is long gone...
