Relay message ingestion:

22k messages/sec without signature verification

40 messages/sec with signature verification

Is that to be expected, or can signature verification be faster than this?

I'm writing one in Java.

Currently using a non-intrinsic Schnorr library, so that might be a bit of an issue.
