Ive got to spend more time with Damus again to know 🙏🏾 From memory it’s just the interface is less “normal” looking than primal. Let me stay on it for a bit and see. If that could be fixed, I’d onboard people to Damus in a heartbeat.
Thats the only reason why bluesky is winning right now, because it looks like what you’d expect it to look like. That and I think here it’s more about culture/community and less about business, which is great, but then that comprises scaling.
Something small that would go a long way is making the robot default icons something more relatable; could be Damus branded, could just be a color. Having it be a robot was fun at first for sure, it just could be mistaken for less “developed” these days 💜
