But we are told that homeschooling is bad because we need trained teachers to teach kids. If this is how the trained teachers teach, I think all kids would be better off being taught at home where at least parents care if their kids learn.
As a homeschool mom, I can defend that both my exceptional and my special needs sons have done better with one on one homeschooling than they did/would have done in government schools. My eldest, who graduated from high school last year with something like 28 college credits (we had him take less than he could've so he could get into the honors program at his college), just declared a double major in math and computer science. He is so good at his work and time management (from being homeschooled), that he said yesterday (thursday) he had completed everything he could work on for his classes including stuff due the following week. Homeschooling is the best.
