#GrowNostr #homesteading I’m curious how many other folks have an #LGD that help provide their own food? Our 1 yr old female Great Pyr hardly has a day go by when we don’t see her with a new chew toy or snack. Today was a baby bunny, last time I noticed was a raccoon, she’s brought home deer legs, skulls with antlers and meat on them, and one time an entire deer! I’d guess 75-100 pounds, and it took her and our other big dog almost a week to reduce it to a twisted hide. #carnivore dogs wanted a break from dog food I guess 😂🤪😁

We have two Pyrenees mixes. One is still a puppy at around 100 lb or so, but he has this super deep voice so the other dogs pretty much told him he could do most of the barking.

The female is a couple years old and she brings in all sorts of stuff. She enjoys being fed but she could probably live off the land if she were free to roam.

Our girl has a deep voice and loves to bark all night long. We do hear coyotes at times, but never nearby… never lost a bird either even with just a poultry electric net

Yeah ours are nocturnal as is the cat.
