We need to help bring it back.
Them: How can you be sure that expert in a field you've never worked in who spent years on that study drew a wrong conclusion in under 5 minutes?
Me: Because I paid attention in statistics class and they didn't.
Them: That doesn't mean you know better than them.
Real conversation I had with someone who has a MS degree.
Statistics trips many people up. They end up believing in nonsense that statistically can never happen. Keep fighting the good fight! Cheers!
