1. I haven't tried that bridge and I'm not sure how it works. How exactly are you trying to add another user? And what error do you see? You can upload a screenshot if that's easier. Also feel free to DM me.
2. Blocking/muting is a pending task. I created this issue to track it: https://github.com/lapulpeta/Nostrid/issues/113 By the way, the global feed uses paid relays only. I'm surprised that porn spammers are using paid relays 🤔
I am on manual relay mode and have added the relays for the bridge and deactivated the payed relays. I attached a porn sample (cuttet it to not show HC :-) ) Added Error Screenshot for mastodon sample address @earthquake@social.yl.ms (this is a bot no real user) too.

Nostr users should subscribe to our relay at wss://relay.mostr.pub. They can also locate users by searching for the NIP-05 identifier.
Try enabling automatic mode and assigning high priority to the relays you want to use. Let's see if that helps with the spam.
Regarding adding users, for now you need to know their npub or hex ID, that's why it's not working what you're trying to do.
