Yes. Always when they sell or rent. A lot of people don’t even consider what’s underneath it. A lot of times here in Florida they have Terrazzo underneath that is beautiful.
Also, sometimes you can salvage some of those around the border whole and have some material to fix the field or spares. Depends how well they are set, but I’d get something flat and as long as possible like a big crappy putty knife and hammer under the tile. See if you can get some of them to pop up whole.
