The more I think about the plot of Death Stranding the more confused I get. Why this game is so anti-killing NPCs if technically the people of this world don't even fear death because they know what is beyond death.

I'm sure the voidouts are connected to that, but still doesn't answer much, and I'm pretty sure there's an explanation somewhere in the many logs and emails I didn't read

Time for reading then ? 👀

But in what way is anti-killing NPC ? You literally can't kill them ?

You can kill, but you're forced to dispose of the bodies to prevent some routes becoming even more annoying with ghosts (BTs) or a possible game over triggered by whatever condition the game finds around that area. In 2 they added an NPC that constantly reminds you that you shouldn't kill people lol.

We shouldn't be calling it "DS" then lol but I didn't think game over was even possible, I thought it catered for Beyond Two Souls kind of game players

There's a Game Over, it just isn't called that because the lore justification is that the main character is immortal and come back from the dead

can come back from the dead whenever he "dies"*
