Electricity is so cheap that you can only get it for 1-2 hours a day. For the rest of the day, you need private generators which are way too expensive for mining

But haven’t you thought about the CO2! We surely mustn’t use hydrocarbons! Electricity is zero emissions; it is a renewable energy you get from a wire.
