Nostr Onboarders should receive how tos, including security safety tips from reputable sources.

Maybe the beginning process - like nostr.com - needs to be landing page with exactly that...simple page with first step on the first page, second step on the second page, etc.
Grrrr Even more incentive to build my knowledge base client.
Why? Knowledge is entangled. Keys, relays, clients all immediately relevant to what nostr is about.
VPN? You need to justify why it is important, is it mandatory, what are the tradeoffs? To answer this you need to talk about how the internet itself works at a basic level to an advanced level allowing for exploration. Its not /immediately/ relevant but is important and like 1 degree of separation from the knowledge of running nostr. Who will write it? Probably the experts who know the most about those specific topics. Anything unclear? The ask a question about that specific note.
Problems is, I need help. Not a natural web developer so things are really tough for me. The concept is simple. I have a 0.1 up and running, but it needs a lot of work.
I image a guide where you choose your own path, I.e. you choose your phone OS and your country of origin and you get the steps that are relevant. For example iOS user from the US would not get Wallet of Satoshi because it is not available but a different wallet option instead.
Or you would have an „I care about privacy“ option and get the instructions for the VPN and other privacy tips.

Completely possible, the spec just determines how to organize the content. A client could add in that conditional functionality.

Appreciated 🙏I have a long journey of learning, but I help from another who has a similar vision would help speed this up. Hell, I'd even help them work on their client if it meant that this idea gained more ground.

I agree that nostr.com needs to be a simple landing page. Wallets need to be explained there as well … but on the other hand if it is too much/complicated we will scare people away. 🤔
