Paying in crypto is forbidden but the law itself doesn’t have any punishment. nostr:npub1cmhrzksr0phayy7twm6zpypwsuhvje5n38xz54wdjxxe8rmue08q3a32xa investigate the situation and asked it to the turkish central bank. It’s basically a “scarecrow law” that make ppl afraid for using anything besides the national shitcoin.

In Turkey, cryptocurrencies are defined by the Central Bank in the Regulation on the Non-Use of Crypto Assets in Payments as intangible assets that are not classified as fiat money, scriptural money, electronic money, payment instruments, securities, or other capital market instruments...
It is. Yet we’re trying to spread the adoption in large cities. Istanbul & Izmir are successful so far.
it is not so clear unlike the other regulations, that is true. but this shouldnt be scary because as i said it is "not so clear". even the definitions in the law are not clear enough for a "law"to be in effect properly. but as always id suggest always consult your lawyer beforehand
