I was doing that (boycott them) for long time.

People think that living in a Bitcoin Standard (earn, pay, save in BTC) is hard because are not so many merchants around accepting it.

Wrong thinking. The problem is not how to spend your sats. The biggest problem people have today is that they are not paid in BTC for their work.

DEMAND TO BE PAID IN BITCOIN! and stop accepting fiat.

It is enough to find few general merchants near by and convince them to accept your sats. Once they see the power of your sats, they will be willing to bring you whatever you want/need.

In regards of boycotting "strategy" let me tell you a story from 2016...

I onboarded a small shop nearby, a general store. Then I went to another nearby shop that was selling almost the same products and I asked if they want to accept my sats. OFC their answer was no so I said:

- "OK fine, then I go to your competitor that is just across the street because they accept BTC and even give me a discount for payment in sats".

You have to play them a bit, otherwise will never realize the loss...

I’ll think it’s a great way to build up your arguments and it’s important to be able to point out real life situations so that people can understand that it can and are being used already.
