The UN Cybercrime Treaty puts security researchers and journalists at risk of being criminally prosecuted. It is incompatible with basic human rights.

Regarding the reference to basic human rights, as Whitney Webb points out, there are inalienable human rights that no man can allot to us, and then there's inglorious UN human rights, the ones deemed suitable by the UN, changeable on any given day.
