I just had a young (30) cousin tell me hes going to quit his apprenticeship and move back in with his parents.

he apparently has no drive, no interests, no motivation to create anything.

its just too hard to find his own way and he's going to quit.

disappointing and frankly pretty pathetic.

but even still, a mature person leaves the door open.

maybe we can help them later.

I try to sympathetic but at some point people have choose to be brave and do something new. Tired of all the talk and no action.

My own kids are awesome go getters that take responsibility and make shit happen. It does give me gratitude for my own fork.
