In more positive news, President Donald J. Trump announced earlier today that he will renominate billionaire entrepreneur, pilot, and commercial astronaut Jared T. Isaacman to serve as the next Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Isaacman was originally nominated for the position at the start of Trump’s second term but saw his nomination withdrawn in late May following an online dispute between Trump and Elon Musk, a close friend and supporter of Isaacman’s appointment. Since then, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has been serving as Acting Administrator of NASA.
