what are the specs on your spare desktop

i7-10700k, 32GB ram, GTX2060, 1Tb NVMe

Whew 😅 if that’s the spare, what’s on your current desktop

Macbook M1 Pro 16"

Niiice! That’s some gear you got there 🫡

Did you added wheel group?

This is basically a clean install, ive only booted it maybe twice since i installed OS

log-in as root then using this command

```
usermod -Ga wheel
```

Well i dont have the root password, need to go into recovery, point is that using Ubuntu desktop is just pain like this.

Even every time i reboot, Chrome thinks it crashed because it gets killed, audio interface selection gets reset, its endless, why is there so many problems...

This seem to be custom installation right?

Default Vanilla's gnome wouldn't have those issue.

I not using ubuntu for long but I never met those issues your're talking about either.

Its default 22.04.03, nothing special, Ubuntu is always pain for me, sometimes i endure the pain to get a better dev env for c/c++ but otherwise its not worth it

Just switch to #PopOS. It's working flowlessly.

Can also recommend Manjaro. Just works. Ubuntu became unbearable at some point. Also snap is just crap

I used to run Arch actually, kinda miss it
