Watching the debt clock of the US right now.

Leaves me with mixed feelings.

On one side …

I see the inevitable outcome of the fiat standard.

A system I genuinely believe is destroying lives at scale.

I know, strong words.

But to me, fiat has its victims.

And not just a few.

I actually belief my dad was one of those victims.

On the other hand…

Their debt is my greatest asset.

That realization doesn’t feel great either.

A lot to think about.
