PSA: as long as you're not using a Cashu wallet that can be restored from a seed phrase (currently: Nutshell-py, Nutstash Alpha, soon: all of them), things could go wrong and you could lose ecash due to some weird bug. Please treat it with care and only use small amounts. I'm very serious about this. I don't hold more than a few dollars worth of ecash myself in non-deterministic (seedless) wallets.

BUT HERE IS THE GOOD NEWS:

Determinisitc wallets are so much safer. Even if something goes wrong, you can just revert time and restore your entire balance.

Friendly reminder: #eNuts currently does not support seed phrase backups. Therefore, please use only funds you can afford to lose. Keep in mind that this software is in its beta stage, and unexpected bugs will arise! We greatly appreciate your role as early testers and we will continue improving the software. Thank you all! 🧡⚡️🌰

If you're holding $500 on a cashu wallet with a 25% chance of failing per year, you're only spending $125/year. That's not a lot of money for many people.

Holding more than a few dollars is ok if you understand the risk.
