Yeah we are a bird nerd household, when I bought bird seed from our local grain elevator on Friday I was told that they don’t usually carry large bags because it is usually little old ladies that buy from them. So this is the first time in 6 years of living here that we have seen these Rose-Breasted Grosbeak at our feeder, apparently they are a migratory bird that only spend the summers in #Michigan and the winters in Mexico and Central America. They are a quite pretty #birdstr and this is one reason we want to put a dedicated camera on the feeders, we also saw our first male oriole of the year #grownostr #birdnerd #birds
