And after use complacency while cutting resulted in slicing off a chunk of my fingernail while prepping supper.

Be aware and don't be lazy, yes accidents happen but I am both amazed at how cleanly the knife cut through my fingernail like butter and also realizing holy fuck I almost cut my finger off.
