It depends. It should

* store events that clients sent to it

* serve stored events to clients asking for them

If you haven't populated it with events, it might just be an empty database.

If no client talks to it, it will do nothing. Just listen into the void.

Looks like listening into the void is what it's doing at the moment. Nice and silent.

Port is :7000 though. But still it seems to do nothing. Will have to look into how I can use my own relay.

Same. I added 4, and now they are all gone.

i added a bunch on astral.ninja and then they also showed up in the app (permanently it seems)

it updates your metadata, so relays appear on all clients sharing the same keys

Going to redo my relay on a beefier VM. Let's see where this goes.
