tough one ... 2001 is a pyramid ... but i like dr strangelove a lot too, peter sellers rocks ... in the end every single movie is a masterpiece on its own ... clockwork orange, shining, full matel jacket, lolita, eyes wide shut ... they are all great

Fully agree. Kubrick put his soul into each work of art. There is no wrong choice! I have such a hard time choosing a favorite as well but gun to my head I pick Full Metal Jacket. I’m a sucker for realism. And that movie is as real as they get. Runner up is A Clockwork Orange then 2001.
