My zapplepay seems busted 😅

One thing I find interesting about this drawing is the snakes in the underworld, at the roots of the worldtree. There’s a cave system, and even a gate implying that that world is accessible but protected.

I find it interesting that the cosmological idea was of snakes in the underworld is appears to be a mythos that crosses cultures worldwide.

In #Buddhism and Hinduism, there is the idea of the Nagas: somewhat magical serpentine beings of the underworld. Sometimes good sometimes bad. Due some reverence or respect.
