I use Primal on my desktop as well as on my Android phone. I can send zaps on my phone, but not on my desktop. What is the process to get my desktop "fixed" to send zaps. Is another desktop client better for this?

There is no easy way to do this right now on desktop. You need to use Alby and setup another wallet. I would just wait. The Primal team is working on a way to make this work on desktop for you. That is, unless you already have a second wallet that supports Nostr Wallet Connect?
Are you using Primal wallet? They will enable it on desktop soon, they will also implement NWC so you could use it with #AlbyExtension on other desktop apps!
