The topic came up and I started sweating and literally gripped the sides of my chair because I was so afraid that I be disappointed in the conversation. That’s a me problem built on years of listening to the suffering of many minor survivors exploited on corporate tech platforms, being disappointed in the platforms priorities and of course the governments response of overreaching legislation that violates digital privacy rights and works towards eroding encryption.
It was so incredible to see Odell handle that conversation with grace, tact, potential solutions and from a perspective of reality. He’s right about this one. Rockstar was great as well during this conversation. Thank you to both of you and all involved.
You are doing really well Nostr. Please keep this same energy and don’t be afraid of this conversation. The more that you continue to speak about it the more that potential solutions will bubble up. It’s an ugly topic that thrives in darkness. You will also need to protect yourselves and what you have built.
