I agree - even as a woman 🧍♀️ while making girlfriends 👯♀️ I have realized all girls I have amazing long term friendships with are girls like me:
- making an effort to eat healthy
- not being crazy and allowing ourselves to have a slice of cake while celebrating someone’s birthday 🎂
- going to the gym at least 2-4 times per week
I have realized these girls are less moody, don’t pass time gossiping, don’t feel the need to be aggressive when a man opens a door or pays for dinner, confident in their decisions, confident and comfortable with their bodies, just overall less of an emotional rollercoaster 🎢 and much easier to maintain a healthy long term relationship.
Girls will ALWAYS have some ups and downs with levels of energy or how many hours we want to sleep because our bodies / hormones change every week.
1. Menstrual Phase: Week of our period, lasts around 3-7 days.
2. Follicular Phase: Following menstruation, our bodies enter the follicular phase, during which the pituitary gland releases hormones that stimulate the ovaries to develop follicles containing eggs.
3. Ovulatory Phase: Around the middle of the menstrual cycle, usually around day 14 in a 28-day cycle, ovulation occurs. This is when a mature egg is released from one of the ovaries and can potentially be fertilized by sperm.
4. Luteal Phase: After ovulation, our bodies enter the luteal phase, during which the empty follicle transforms into a structure called the corpus luteum. It releases hormones like progesterone to prepare the uterus for possible implantation of a fertilized egg. If fertilization doesn't occur, this phase ends, and the cycle begins again with menstruation.
So yeah, small fluctuations in mood are to be expected. But overall I get along with most people, but the girls I maintain long and meaningful relationships with are always like I described above.
