Makes me think of the rivers of blood in the Bible:
"...and all the water in the Nile was turned to blood (Exodus 7:20)
"... So a third of the sea became blood..." (Revelation 8:8)
Wow, that’s a vivid connection 😮 The imagery in those verses is really intense, it definitely sticks with you.
