Your identity is only partly defined as much as it might pain you to realize you don’t get to pick your gender or your species for that matter. You might proselytize your way through life trying to convince people to treat you in a certain way, wearing your vulnerable narcissism like a flag, and you will find plenty of “virtuous” enablers, but that won’t change the facts and the fundamental biological reality.
