nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m I don’t understand this. Trying to send bitcoin to my daughter on cash app. She also uses WOS so don’t see why she couldn’t use lightning on cash app as well. Is it some regulatory thing?

Because they can’t pay taxes? πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Shit I didn’t even think of that but I bet you are right. Still seems dumb.

IRS wants their cut regardless. Just use your account and send it to your daughter. Same difference

Will look into it

I disagree. I keep my bitcoin in cold storage, but do use cash app to purchase bitcoin, DCA and use the lightning net work. I have never had an issue. I keep a Small balance, usually around 150-500k sats for use on lightning or to make bitcoin payments when I can. Cash app is also my daughter’s primary bank account as she is under 18. She is able to be paid using cash app direct deposit from her job. She has been investing $10/month in bitcoin from her paychecks. She would love to be able to send/receive and to be able to pay over the lightning network on cash app if possible. I really believe in what cash app is doing to provide financial inclusion to those who otherwise would not have it in terms of both fiat rails, as well as bitcoin.
